ANGELA
Yvonne
Angela Yvonne is the CEO and founder of Vegan Pop Eats—a lifestyle journalist, producer, and content creator who is changing the perception of vegan living. As a passionate vegan concierge, Angela helps people discover a more vibrant, balanced lifestyle by showing that plant-based living is about more than just food—it’s culture, community, and conscious choices.

Her journey began with Veganuary in 2017, sparking a transformation that led to the creation of Vegan Pop Eats, a platform that blends her love of pop culture, wellness, and storytelling. Angela is especially known for her widely loved Vegan Restaurant Guide to New York City, a go-to resource for foodies seeking the best in plant-based dining.

Angela has been featured on both national and local TV segments, including New Jersey PBS (two seasons), where she breaks down the health benefits of eating plant-based. She’s hosted conversations with vegan trailblazers such as Senator Cory Booker, Mýa, Tabitha Brown, and John Salley, further solidifying her as a trusted voice in the space.
Her work has been featured in The Vegan Review, Vkind, The Bloody Vegan Podcast, and on panels at major events including Vegan Women Summit, Seed Food and Wine Festival, and Black VegFest. Angela has also appeared on Arise 360, Tha LSpot Show, TheYBF.com, and the UK’s Noni Chat—bringing her message to international audiences.

A sought-after speaker, Angela has presented at Harvard University, using her platform to educate and inspire, proving that veganism is not just a diet—it’s a lifestyle. Through Vegan Pop Eats, she continues to empower others with her signature motto:
“It’s dope over here on the greenside.”
